Smile

(no subject)

It's been rather quiet lately. I think there are some proposed budget cuts for the new year, however, so I'll probably find myself becoming busier.

Christmas has disappeared without trace now. It's odd, really; usually I detest the holiday and I fully expected this year to be worse in light of... last year's events... but it wasn't. Wright... thankyou. And if you're free today, would you come to my office? I have something to say to you in person.

Oh, and to whichever student feels it is appropriate to run along the corridoors, shouting when any sane person would talk... don't. Please. Because I have now taken to setting a bucket of extremely cold water next to my office door, and I'd hate for any of you to get wet.

That will be all.

Wright. I need to speak to you. My office, at lunch? Yes, there will be food provided you've been practicing with your chopsticks.

Well. I suppose, following in Wright's stead, I should introduce myself to you all. I am the new Representative of the Board of Directors for Suzuran Gakuen. They wouldn't tell me at the interview what had happened to the previous representative, but I swear somebody made a comment about 'lynchings' under his breath. I remain unfazed.

As representative, I shall attend the termly board meetings in which the directors of Suzuran Gakuen will discuss everything concerning the school, from administration and budget to teaching staff and pupils' performance (and behaviour). I will represent the board within the school, informing you all of any decisions or reforms they have chosen to make. As you all know, the Board of Directors holds infinite power, capable of deciding everything from whether or not to expel a troublesome student to the building of a new set of classrooms (but please note that these are merely examples).

If they deem it necessary then they will involve themselves in any aspect of the running of Suzuran but for the most part they concern themselves only with the more vital areas.

I am looking forward to meeting you all in due course, then. And I hope to God you don't despise me on sight.
